Desnos

I’ve dreamed
there enough, which is to say that
I’ve dreamed of becoming accustomed, folding
back around to
so much
that what it has could very well,
oh…

I’ve dreamed
of me swayed
by you, face
& lips I’ve dreamed of.
I have so often
stilled time so often,
fit the contour & for days
weighed wakening appearances.
I could have.
The shadows
were longer, then.
Sleep & all the time sentiment
ruled.

Kiss that.
